Jet Cleaners opened in the summer of 1956 by Nicholas Amore, and his two sons, Vincent (Jim) and Michael. The 700 State street location was previously Clark Dairy, and anchored the corner of State and Trumbull Streets.

Under the Direction of Jim and Mike, Jet Cleaners grew and moved in 1965 to 687 State St., across from its original spot. After 50 years, Jet moved to its current location at 762 State Street, two blocks north from its original location.

Both Jim and Mike passed away in 1999, but Jet continues under the management of Michael Jr. and has served the community faithfully since its start over 60+ years ago.

Our dedicated staff continues to work hard to insure our customers are well taken care of...a tradition started in 1956 by our founders.
